f Lord, make me as a little child
• Trusting Thee, always simple and sincere
I- Loving people for what they arc
With tolerance that knows no fear.
I know that God watches from His heaven
His children with believing hearts
And trusting minds at the close of the day
Without this patience would die and hope depart.
Aren’t these beautiful sum
cneT days? 1 don’t believe
anyone enjoys summertime
more than I do. I like it
when it’s 90 in the shade,
when the birds sing and in
the evening when the firefly
•hirns on his light and the
V-ec frogs sing their tunc,
schist of all, though, I love
Mends dropping in to chat.
So'please do come. I love H.
Last week Mrs. Otis Chap
pell brought me a most beau
tiful arrangement of flowers
and then on Sunday Mrs.
Irene Dunbar brought another
lovely arrangement All these
tokens of friendship, along
with delicious pies and other
foods, are such a joy to me.
Thank all of you for being so 1
kind. 1

Anyone wishing to play on
Sunday, the 19th are request-1
ed to tee off before 12 noon
if they are not playing in the
• tournament.
' We have not tried to run
any tournaments before this
' date as we have been work- j
ing hard on the greens to get
them in shape and it has paid
off. Our greens are the best |
greens that I have seen so far
this year and I have played!
in a number of tournaments J
,and everywhere that I have
; played there have been no I
greens at all and fairways go
the same route. I think that'
you are very lucky to have j
your course in the fine shape ;
that it is in, and if you don't
believe me, just go take a ‘
look at some of the other I
courses, even the big one'
with a lot of Tnoney can't j
match the condition cf your
greens and fairways.
If any members are inter- j
' ested I would like to run a
member-guest tournament on
the 26th. Let me know your
feelings on this.
