My : faithful Hazel is here, so much of a friend and help .to cue; the birds arc all around and God’s in His Heaven. Mr. Henderson To Speak Rev. James H. Henderson of Falkville, Ala., begins a revival meeting at the First Christian Church on Sunday. Beginning with the morning services, the revival will be held each night through Fri day, August 14. In 1968 {Mr. Henderson held a revival at the local church. He is the son of. Rev. and •Mrs. W. O. Henderson who ministered at the First Chris tian Church in 1946-47. ■Having lived in Elizabeth City before moving to Ala bama, Mr. Henderson is a na tive of North Carolina. His formal education was done at Transylvania College, Lexing ton, Ky.. Johnson Bible Col lege, Kimbcrlin Heights, Tcnn.. and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, Tex. He received his BA and BT) from the latter school. 'Pastor now cf the Viney Grove and Cedar Plains Chris- BHLewis, 55, Dies In Hospital Benjamin Harrison Lewis, 59, died in Hampton Veterans Hospital following an extend ed illness. A native of Tyrrell County, he was a son of the late John Henry and Francis Wright Lewis. •He was retired security police chief of Wheaton (Md.) Plaza. Surviving are four sons: Bernard and Joey Lewis, both of Rockville, Md.; John H. Lewis of Bellair, Md., and Ed die Lewis of Orlando, Fla.; one daughter, Marjorie Lewis of Annapolis, Md.; two broth ers, John Lewis of Edenton and W. H. Lewis of Orlando, Fla.; four sisters: Mrs. John Arcaro of Edenton, Mrs. Rich ard Waters of Lowell, Mich., Mrs. Johnnie Winn of Fitz-1 gerald, Ga., and Mrs. James I Odom of Rocky Mount, and * 14 grandchildren. Graveside services will be; ■held in Beaver Hill Cemetery et II A. M. today (Thursday) with Rev. E. L. Earnhardt of ficiating. Williford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Peele of Edenton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Peele, Route 1, Edenton, has just complet ed a day-long pre-registration session at the University of North Carolina here.
