SECTION B FOUR LITTLE KITTENS By MARY LIZZIE LANE I looked out this morning, what do you think I saw? four little darling kittens standing at my door. They’d not been bruised or battered, I Neither had their little family been scattered. They looked at me and said mew, mew As though the bright eyed kittens really knew. I hustled around, their breakfast to prepare, Hoping they would not scatter all would stay right there. •I got there with their breakfast, they all looked at 1 me, They were right there under the shade of the pecan tree. 'I wanted a name for each of them, you know, , As I watched them eating right there in a row. One kitten got excited and ran toward the ditch, I decided I’d call him .Fatty Witch. Then one little kitten made for the house. His name will be remembered as Minnie Mouse. Then I had two more I ought to name, They, were eating their breakfast, they weren’t to blame. I hope they’ll be smart as they can be. And catch the mice that worry me. When -I go out in the cool of the day, I sit in the swing to watch my kittens play. When they really start they run fast, I don’t think my flower beds are going to last. When they climb up on my flowers, you see, I yell at them, they’re naughty as can be. They’re just as fat as a butter ball, And have really learned my voice when I call. BULKHEADS PIER BUILDING PentaTreated \ Lumber Used Cai< 4824158 Forehand Bulkhead & Pier Service Edenton, N.
