M. for the wedding of 'Miss Marcella Marie Ward and Earl Gregory Solesbee. The ceremony took place in a candlelight setting of yel low and white mums and gladioli. Rev. George H. Cooke officiated at the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Marcel Ward of Tyner. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Stanley Solesbee of Asheville. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wbre a candlelight silk Bengaline gown fashioned with an em pire bodice featuring re-em broidered Alencon lace, high neckline, long sleeves with wide cuffs of lace and a soft A-line skirt. The headpiece was a matching lace edged Madonna mantilla. The bride’s only jewelry was a pair of pearl earrings, a gift of the bridegroom.
