Classes Begin Week of Sept. 14 in Chowan County
The Adult Education Division is eager to offer courses adults in our area
want. Any class may be started if 15 or more persons are interested and a
qualified instructor can be secured. Below is a list of possible course offer
ings. Please read through the list apd fill out the form below if you are
interested in any of the suggested offerings. If you have any suggestions for
courses not listed, we would welcome your ideas.
GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT ADULT EDUCATION COURSES
These programs are offered for self-interest and self-improvement. They
are open to any person 18 years of age or over who is not enrolled in a
high school. There is no maximum age limit Persons 18 to 18 years old
■ with “special needs’’ may enroll with permission of the local school super
intendent. Classes are free to “Senior Citizens” 65 years of age and Older.
For most classes, there is a $2.00 fee payable the first night of the coune.
