Bake [ at 350 degrees for 20 to 23 : minutes. Serves eight to 10. Baked Stuffed Peppers 0 green peppers. 2 tablespoons butter or : margarine. 1 onion, finely chopped, i % lb. ground beef. 1 tomato, peeled and chop i ped. 1 pkg. (8 oz.) herb season : ed stuffing. % teaspoon salt. % teaspoon pepper. 1 can canned tomato sauce. Cut a one-inch piece from : stem end of peppers; set : aside. Carefully scoop out : seeds and fibers from each : pepper. Parboil peppers and : end pieces in boiling salted : water for five minutes; drain [ and cool. Melt butter in skil let; saute onions for five min utes. Stir in beef, tomatoes ! and stuffing; cook over high • heat until beef loses its red : ness. Add salt and pepper; : mix well. Taste for season : ing. Fill chilled pepper with i stuffing mixture; cover with end' ' pieces. Add tomato | sauce. Place in baking dish : and bake in 375 degree oven for 45 minutes. Serves six. Squash Supreme 4 cups yell ffw squash, diced. 114 cups water. 14 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons grated onion. 14 cup grated carrots. 1 can cream of chicken soup. 1 cup sour cream. ' 2 cups herb seasoned stuff ing. 3 tablespoons butter. Cook squash in salted wa ter until tender, grain and mash. Add onions, carrots, soup and sour cream. Salt and pepper to taste. Butter a two-quart shallow casser ole. Sprinkle half c>f the stuffing on bottom of casser ole. Cover with squash mix ture. Top with remaining stuffing. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
