University Sets Class In Windsor GREENVILLE:—A 10-week college credit course, Socio logy 331 G, Juvenile Delin quency, will be offered in Windsor beginning December 14 by the Division of Con tinuing Education of East Carolina University. It will be taught in three hour sessions at Bertie High School each Monday evening through March 1, 1971. No classes will be held on De cember 21 and 28. Each ses sion will meet from 6:30 P. M. to 9:30 P. M. Dr. Donald Stewart will be the instructor for the course. Pre - registration for the course is desired. If the class is not filled by pre registration, a student may register at 6:30 P. M. on the night of the first class meet ing. Sociology 331 G carries three quarter hours of college cre dit which may be used to ward teacher certificate re newal or for degree credit if the course fits into the stu dent’s degree program. Refuse Tested As New Energy Source Refuse burning in munici pal incinerators can help re duce both pollution and the danger of a fuel shortage. Several European cities are already burning refuse to produce electricity, Leonard S. Wegman, president of the company of the same name, told an industry group. He said that in North America “we have two new heat recovery plants. The Montreal plant went into op eration about six months ago, and the Chicago plant started test burning more recently.” He added that New York plans to have a plant built on the site of the former Brook lyn Navy Yard.
