Eden Street Phone 482-3519 Edenton, N. C. GRANDMOTHER By LESLIE ERICSSON, Hyland, N. C. Grandmother Gnit with her needles and hook Would rather make pretties than eat, sleep or cook. She’ll draft you a sweater, a dolly, or hat Before you can wake up that nervous old cat. Grandmother Gnit makes a number of things, She makes them with yarn, and makes them with strings. But that isn’t all .that Grandmother can do, If your work’s in trouble she’ll fix it for you. She’ll fix it by letter; she’ll fix it by phone; She'll help you in groups, or She’ll help you alone. So write to old Granny at her new address And ask her to help you. I know she’ll say yes. To Dr. Bond and the nurses who strived so hard to make her comfortable in her illness we are 'most grateful. To the many people who sent food, gave flowers and sent mes sages of sympathy during the death of our loved one, let us say “Thanks.” We would like also to thank the Rescue Squad, who came so faith ful when called.
