NICE CATCH Leonard Small is a hit and miss
fisherman. Going out Friday afternoon on his semi
annual jaunt, Small landed this nice rock. It weighed in
at 11 pounds, six ounces and is one of the largest rock
to be pulled from the sound around Edenton this year.
Small admits the catch almost gave him “rock fever”.

This Christmas, give him the extraordinary watch ... KwviHrVl
ACCUTRON by BULOVA. Instead of the usual wheels .V.V.V/nVj
and springs, Accutron has a tiny, electronically-driven IvXv’v/'j
tuning fork whose vibrations split each second into 360 ""VLV.Va
precise little intervals. Ordinary watches have balance sSSstavj
wheels. The balance wheel splits the second, too. Into 5 Ssgßjasj
or 10 intervals. And not so precisely. That’s why balance jgSSsSj f
wheel watches can’t compete with tuning fork time.
Because of that tuning fork, we can guarantee Accutron ttjyXvSjj ■vgp
accuracy to within a minute a month*.
