It was noted that Per quimans County Board will meet at a later date to take action on the equipment for the landfill project and that actual purchase of equipment would have to await the de cision of the Perquimans County Board and the review of all legal aspects concern ing the equipment by the joint committee and the at torneys of Chowan and Per quimans County. Motion was made by David T. Bateman, seconded by C. M. Evans that the committee be authorised at their discretion to proceed with purchase of the equip ment recommended after all legal considerations have been satisfied. Members voting yes: J. Clarence Leary, C. M. Evans, David T. Bateman; no, N. J. George. C. M. Evans, member of the landfill committee, 1 reported on equipment to be used at the landfill site. It is the feeling of the committee that bid submitted by Gregory Poole Company for caterpil lar 955-L at price of $34,959 is the equipment best suited for this purpose. Motion made by J. Clarence Leary, seconded by David T. Bate man that the landfill commit tee be authorized to proceed t ( with purchase of equipment needed after Perquimans County Commissioners had met and made recommenda tions and after all matters had been received by the landfill committee, and the attorneys from the two coun ties and the participating FHA and health agencies.
