The morning's activities even included a little com edy when a fire hose accidentally wet down several youths, sending the chief to un ceremoniously stop the runaway hose. Needless to say. the incident did not extin guish their fires of curiosity. NOT SIMILAR Despite the similarity in names, acetate and triacetate arc two very different fibers. Acetate is sometimes called a "problem'' fiber, because it is "weak" and generally not ma chine washable. Check the label when you buy acetate to see if “dry-clean only" is recommended, advise exten sion clothing specialists. N. C. State -University. Triacetate i.- washable, however. It can be ironed at a higher tem perature than acetate also. It is human nature to put the blame for everything on somebody else but a man be gins to make sonic progress when he blames his shortcom ings on the proper person. Try a Herald Classified Ad. NOTICE! The per capita consumption of sweet potatoes has remained almost constant for several years at slightly less than six pounds. A slight drop in t sumption of the fresh proc has about been offset by a slight increase in processed potatoes.
