Section B Mrs. King, 37, Dies Suddenly Mrs. Elnora Rose King of Tampa, Fla., died suddenly May 16. She was 37. Mrs. King was a native of Chowan County, daughter of Mrs. Lillie Mae Gay Wheeler and the late Doppie W. Wheeler. She was married to Paul King In addition to her mother and husband, surviving are three sons: David, Allen Dail, and John Gutherie Ackers of St. Simmons, Ga.; five brothers: Herman, Russell and Wilbert Wheeler, all of Edenton; Murray Wheeler of Roper; and Buck Wheeler of Key West, Fla.; three sisters: Mrs. Bertha Anderson, Mrs. Ruby Vopelak, and Mrs. Ema Lou Thompson, all of Edenton. Funeral services were held at 4 P.M. Sunday in Williford Memorial Chapel with Rev. E. C. Alexander in charge. Burial was in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Williford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. She was a 1968 debutante and a 1969 graduate of D. F. Walker High School. She completed her requirements for graduation during the fall semester, thus enabling her to accept a teaching position in her field at Douglas Elementary School in Columbus. Ohio.
