Page 2-A lißjj Jkjp: Mrs. Benjamin Larry Knox Couple Is United In Hertford The wedding of Miss Kay Stallings Dail and Benjamin Larry Knox, Jr., was solemnized August 12 at 4 P.M. in the Hertford Baptist Church. Rev. Norman B. Harris performed the double ring ceremony in a candlelight setting of baskets of carnations, gladioli, mums, and pompoms. Wedding music was presented by Danny Meads, organist, and Bobby Jones; soloist. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Dail. Jr., of Hertford. The bridegroom's parents are Mr. Benjamin Larry Knox, Sr., of Edenton. and Mrs. Vera Wallace of Decatur, Ga. Given in marriage by her father the bridge wore a full length gown of w'hite organza over taffeta, fashioned with a high neck and long fitted sleeves. The gown featured an empire waist with a semifull skirt and attached sweep train. The bodice, sleeves, and skirt were lavishly appliqued with pearl trimmed re-embroidered alencon lace. She wore a matching lace profile headpiece with an elbow length veil of illusion. Miss Willie Faye Dail, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Marcia Stallings of Hobbsville. Miss Kim Griffin of Edenton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Griffin, was flower girl. Mr. Jeffrey Williams of Hertford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Williams, was ring bearer. Mr Knox, Sr., father of the groom was best man. Ushers were Jeff Knox of Edenton, brother of the groom; Clifton J. Stallings of Belvidere. Richard Jackson of Edenton. and David Nixon of Murfreesboro. Mrs. Ralph Davis of Elizabeth City and Mrs. Lewis Stallings of Belvidere, aunts of the bride, were mistresses of ceremony. For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Dail chose a camellia pink dress in street length of polyester crepe. It featured a tailored neckline with full length sleeves. It was embellished with open work embroidery. She wore matching accessories and a white cymhidium orchid corsage. Mrs. Knox chose a street length dress of aqua blue polyester crepe. It featured a tie neckline, a tucked yoke and full length sleeves.
