Page 8-B ‘■WMM ■ l_ , * Senior Citizen of the Albemarle Area are preparing their arts and crafts for the Senior Citiaens Bazaar. Hie bazaar will be in Elisabeth City the Week of May 13 through May It, 1*74, and is sponsored by the Southgate Mali Merchants Association. In addition, gift certificates will be presented to some of the Senior Citizens by various merchants and businessmen of the Albemarle Area. Arts and Crafts for exhibit and sale will be displayed in the main mall from approximately 11:00 A.M. each day until late afternoon. A wide variety of items including needlework to knitting, and dried flower displays to painting are expected to be on display. Two of the more popular items displayed last year were quilts and crochet jewelry. Individual Senior Citizens can participate on any day and as often as they wish. However, Senior Citizens Clubs are asked to participate on the following dates for their particular county: Tyrrell A Currituck—Monday, MSy 13. 1974 - 11:00 A.M.; Camden & Washington— Tuesday. May 14. 1974 - 11:00 A.M.; Gates & Chowan— Wednesday, May IS, 1974 - 11:00 A.M.; Pasquotank A Dare— Thursday, May 16, 1974 - 11:00 A.M.; Perquimans & Hyde— Friday, May 17. 1974 - 11:00 A.M.; All Counties—Saturday, May 18. 1974 - 11:00 A.M. On Friday May 17,1974 at 7:00 P.M., a program will be presented by and for the Senior Citizens. Joe Lamb of Radio Station WCNC of Elizabeth City, N.C. will emcee this program. During the program the awards and gift certificates will be presented. Before the program is concluded on Friday night there will be an auction of items prepared by the Senior Citizens.
