Mrs. Jordan, SB, Taken In Death
NEWPORT NEWS, Va.-
Mrs. Katherine P, Jordan, 58,
died April 23 in Hampton
General Hospital following a
lengthy illness.
A native of Edentata, N.C., she
was a Peninsula resident 33
years and a member of New
Covenant Church of Hampton.
Surviving are a daughter,
Mrs. Katherine D. Larason of
Germany ; three sons: Wjlliam
K. Jordan, Jr., Gene E. Jordan'
and Douglas Jordan, all of
Hampton; her mother, Mrs.
Katherine Elliott of Hampton;
four sisters: Mrs. Agnes Brown
of Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs.
Frances Littrell of Miami, Fla.;
Mrs. Delmar L. Boeck of
Orlando, Fla. and Mrs. James
E. Freeman of Fayetteville; a
brother, M-Sgt. Josiah Elliott of
Bowie, Md.; and .vlfuf
grandchildren.
Funeral services were "f
conducted April 98 in Lawrence
B. Wood Funeral Home by Rev.
Thomas L. Jones. Burial was in
Parklawn Memorial Part.
