chairman of Local Government
II Committee by Speaker of the
House James C. Green.
At the time of the
announcement, Speaker Green
said Rep., James was chosen for
the post because of his “unique
abilities and you experience
both as a legislator and as an
interested student of local
government. Accordingly the
members of the committee
have been carefully chosen in
order that all the people of our
state will be properly
represented on this important
committee.”
