Saturday at 4 P.M. in Saint
Anne’s Catholic Church.
Mr. Crooke is the son of

The gown had a gently
draped skirt of lace
appliques and pearls and
was enhanced by a chapel
benght train bordered by a
ruffle of Alnecon lace. Her
finger tip veil, bordered
with the same lace, was
arranged from a Camelot
headpiece. She carried a
nosegay of gentle white
roses, orchids, and
stephanotis.
Miss Kathryn Crooke,
, sister of the bridegroom,
was maid of honor. The
oth6r attendants were Mrs.
John Timothy Dowd of
Edenton, sister-in-law of the
bride; Mrs. Wriston Donald
Crooke of Hamlet, sister-in
law of the groom; Mrs. Gary
Whitehurst of Elizabeth
City, and Miss Julie Habit of
Edenton, both cousins of the
bride.
Mr. Crooke, father of the
groom was best man. The
ushers were Michael
Lawrence I Dowd and
Timdthy Habij (Dowd of
Edenton, brotners of ;the
bride; Wriston Donald
Crooke of Hamlet, brother
of the groom; and John
Joseph Cooper of
Fayetteville.
The bride’s mother wore a
gown of pink nylon chiffon
fashioned with a lace waist

corsage of cymbidium
orchids. Mrs. Crooke wore a
gown of mint green silk and
a corsage of cymbidium
orchids.
