A constitutional convention will offer the people not the politicians the right to decide these issues. A convention does n °t mean that the historic values of the constitution will be scrapped; instead, they will be strengthened by being re-examined and re-accepted. In addition, the con vention will permit the people to make the changes nec essary to form the government as they wish it to be.
