Wachovia Raises
Preferred Rate
WINSTON-SALEM-At a
special meeting of Wachovia
Corp.’s board of directors, the
conversion rate of Wachovia’s
$2.20 cumulative convertible
preferred stock, series A, was
increased from 2.16 to 2.69
shares of Wachovia’s common
stock.
The new conversion rate is
effective from June 15.
