Livingston’s inspiring message was “How To Be Victorious in 1 Living", based on Acts - 24:24-27. Paid is the speaker in our scripture. He was one hundred per cent opposed to Jews aatil he met Him on therund to Damascus. After* mat experience, ne reamed , that qvfol fulfilled per , feetly the prophesies of all and thereafter he proclaimed me w fill Living Messiah wherever lie want. ItoadevO And hfoiwn people to turn against him. When die people turned on him, he was seat to the city of Caesarea, a beautiful city where (he governor lived. This is wh«4-e Felix lived. He perhaps is a symbol of the arch politician-talked out of both sides his mouth - crooked as a person could' be. By his devious ways, he . had moved himself from slavery to a position of great importance. He was \i gentile but had his eye on I Drusilia, a Jewess, and I managed to get her' away I from her husband. Is there hope for a person I like this? I believe there is if I he confesses his sins and I accepts Jesus as Lord and I Savior. Felix, with his wife I Drusilia, sent for Paul and I heard him concerning faith I in Christ. Paul did not argue I -he reasoned with him about I the sensibility, success and I victory of doing things right. I Righteousness and I godliness go together. How do we become right I with God? “STRUGGLE” is J the title of a file that I have I about getting my life into a I right plane with God. It’s • I worth every bit of the I struggle to get right with I God. Paul was talking to two I people whose lives were I very wrong because he I wanted them to get right I with God. Temperance was the next I point brought out by Paul. I Temperance in ALL things, I including temper, eating I and dealing with people • I particularly today, in race I relations. Recently, during I school recess, a man came I into the playground and I began to blow up colorful I balloons for the children, I who had a great time I floating them in the air. The I bell rang and children ran 1 back into the building - I except for one little black I boy. He asked “Mister, if I you blew up a black balloon, I would it float?”. The man I looked at the small boy who I had questioned him and said I “It’s not the color of the I balloon that makes it float, I it’s what’s inside”. Paul’s next point was I Judgement . Judgement goes I on all the time. If you don’t I paint your house, it begins to I peel; if we don’t keep our I minds active, they’ll I become stale. God will I judge us according to every E secret thing that we do. He E will hold us accountable for 1 every word we speak con- I trary to his will. We cannot I escape judgement. Felix | almost decided to go I Christ’s way. The devil said I “Don’t do it”. He let the I moment slide, the devil I moved in and Felix never, I never found that “con- I venient day”. We must become like I putty in God’s hands. Let I Him “break up the ground” I of our lives into “fallowed I ground” and plant seeds of I righteousness in us so there 1 will be victory in our lives I and no matter what the I circumstances, we will be so I in tune with God that we will I be happy and can turn that I which is evil into something I good. —O— Bandon Chapel was the I setting for a beautiful I wedding solemnized I Saturday afternoon at 2 I P.M. when Miss Joyce I McKown, daughter of Mr. I and Mrs. Frank Barnes, and I Mr. Ronnie Thomas Lane, I son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry I Lane, were united in I marriage by Rev.
