Turner, 43, Route 1, Tyner, was given an active 12-month sentence in Chowan County District Court Tuesday on counts of drunk driving, fourth of fense, and driving while his license was revoked. Two lesser charges were dismissed. Judge Grafton G. Beaman entered the sentence and recommended Turner for work release. Asst. Dist. Atty. David Blackwell prosecuted the docket and Arthur B. Harrison, 28-year-old Negro, 302 Stokes Drive, Hertford, was given a suspended sentence for making false statements to the N.C. Employment Security Commission. Harrison was charged in seven cases. He was sentenced to 150 days, suspended upon payment of SIBO fine and costs and make restitution in the amount of $541. In other cases called the following action was taken: Dale Lee Stack, driving while license revoked, called and failed. Andy Louis Johnson, speeding, $lO fine and costs. Joseph Edward Robinson, speeding, costs. Notice of appeal entered. Tony Raymond Hare, traffic violation, $25 fine and costs. Ramon Harman, to enter judgment for support, or dered to show cause why he should not be held in con tempt. Frederick I. Roulac, failure to list taxes, SSO fine and costs. Francis White Blount, failure to list taxes, order of arrest. Robert Stanton Rea, damage to personal property, 30 days, suspended upon payment of $25 fine and costs and make restitution; assault with a deadly weapon, dismissed. Calvin Robert Hall, traffic violation, not guilty.
