Bandon Notebook
By GU Holt
Sabotituting for
Maggie B.
When Bandon Chapel
loses their Organist and
Supt. Trus and Maggie
Bunting who are off on a
long weekend, they are
really missed. We will all do
our best to fill that vacant
spot while they are gone.
Willey Hardison did a grand
job of Acting Supt. in Trus’s
absence and welcomed
everyone to Bandon for
Sunday School on this
beautiful Sunday Morning.
He announced the hours for
Vacation Bible School that
would be -held at Rocky
Hock Baptist Church this
coming week.
Bible Study will be
Wednesday at 7:30 P.M. in
the Fellowship Hall with Dr.
Bill leading the discussion.
Immediately following
Bible Study we have choir
practice. Our monthly
covered dish dinner will be
at 6:30 P.M. Friday the 17th
with Trus and Maggie
Bunting as Host and
Hostess. Remember this is
an evening of fun and
fellowship, anyone missing
this evening will really be
missing a good time. Bring
your favorite dish and join
in with the fine fellowship.
Our Kindergarten-
Intermediate Gass, taught
by Mrs. Bobbie Jean Holt
has as it’s subject “We
Don’t Quarrel With Each
Other”, Genesis 11:27 -12:5;
13: 1-2. Our Junior’s, tdught
by Mrs. Mary Elizabeth
Beach, studied “Those Who
Help Us Worship”, II Chron.
29: 20-36; Hebrews 5: 1-6;
Tim. 2:5; Eph.; 4: 7,8, 11,
12. Aim was that the student
may learn respect for
Christian leaders as he
understands their duties.

“A Leader Called”,
Exodus 3: 1-12, taught by
Wm. F. (Butch) Smith, was
the topic for our adults. Aim
was that adult Christians
seek a time to talk with God
about whether they are
presently playing the role
He has for them.
Dr. W.J.B. Livingston’s
countenance glowed with
joy and Christian love as he
welcomed those assembled
in the Lord’s House for our
Worship Service. His ser
mon was based on the Book
of John: Chapter II: 1-11.
Mrs. Donna Haridson
sang a lovely solo, backed
by the Bandon Chapel Choir,

she will find time to visit
with us more often.
