A Memorial for Gurney
Harrell whose birthday was
March 10, died 1975.
You were quick to smile-
So slow to frown,
Gave a hand to anyone
down.
j Happiness you gave to
those you knew.
i No better thing could
Anyone do.
Your presence brought
joy to our hearts,
We hated so from you to
part.
God saw fit to call
you away
But your memory is here
to stay.
The blow was hard
the shock severe,
All the while God was near.
Only those who have lost
can tell
The pain of saying farewell.
Until that day when we
meet again
Pleasant memories shall
remain.
