"There is something in his classes for all levels of experience" say many of those who attended his 1976 workshops Beginners report being given unusually good boost into the medium and those who have done watercolors for years are pleased to find they are able to refine their work with the artist's special techniques. All agree, finally, that Anckus is as entertaining as he is instructive. Andrus work has become known throughout the East in the last decade, and his paintings have been sold throughout the U.S., Europe, and South America. A graduate of the University of lowe, Andrus holds a degree in Art Education and received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the Institute Attends, Mexico He taught art many years on the high school and college levels, and in 1976 retu d from formal teach.ng to open a gallery and studio on the Outer Banks. Andrus paintings portray familiar scenes along the East Coast, and he has found an abundance of Around The Farms By R. M. At the present time our average yield on peanut production for 1979 is around 2.900 pounds per acre, which means that someone in Chowan County had real good yields. We had a lot of problems getting our peanuts in in 1979 due to the weather and this we hope Career Sales Opportunity Would you like to earn $20,000 to $40,000 a year (and more) as a salesman? Several of our sales rep resentatives have done this in North Carolina. We currently have two openings iu Northeastern North Carolina as our expansion program continues. N'o overnight travel is required. We offer a com prehensive training program. Our sales representa tive' receive excellent fringe benefits. Our business ha' not lx-en severely affected by current economic c'-nditien.v There is an opportunity for rapid ad vancement. Approximately 60'o of our safes representatives in .Vorth Carolina and Virginia earn in excess of >2O 000 yearly. Our leading men are in the $40,000 to $50,000 income bracket. In recent years our sales leaders have qualified for meetings in Clear water. Fla., Hawaii, Nassau, Sen Diego, California and Tamarron, Colorado. A bonus plan makes it possible to earn in excess of S2O 000 in the first year and in excess of $50,000 in the -ecund year. We can prove that this has been done. In addition to the financial rewards, we also can show you that our leading men have be come self-employed and completely independent after the initial training period. A sales or business background and a college de gree are helpful but not essential for this position. Several of our successful men were experienced businessmen before joining our organization. On the other hand, we have had several men in their twenties to earn in excess of $20,000 in 1978. This is interesting work, but it isn’t easy. It’s hard work and it requires a high energy level. Our sales representatives must feel confident in dealing with successful people. Our successful men an all persuasive, stimulating and confident. They an also aggressive, determined and persistent We know exactly what we an looking for. If you have what we’re looking for, we feel certain that we have exactly what you’re looking for.
