Concert
Baldwin Product Spe
cialist, Kevin Cain, will
present a concert on the
Baldwin Organ at Harris
Music Center Southgate
Mall, Elizabeth City.
Kevin N plays a wide
variety of popular music
and utilizes several dif
ferent styles of playing
...Theatre, Jazz, Down-
Home, and Pop.
Born in Greeley, Col., and
raised in Denver, Kevin
spent many hours in his
early years in front of the
family Victrola listening to
big band recordings.
Playing trombone in school,
Kevin started organ lessons
at age 13. His first
professional job was with
his high school band
director’s combo at age 15.
Mostly self-taught, Kevin
has played for hundreds of
concert and night club
audiences from coast to
coast. His recent musical
activities include com
posing, producing, record
ing and engineering radio
station jingles and com
mercials for a Denver-based
recording studio.
Kevin specializes in using
the Baldwin Organ as an
artist would use his
palate..producing sound
textures and tonal colorings
from sublime to unusual,
with unique arrangements to
matcn.
Computer Users
To Hold Meeting
Tuesday is the regular
monthly meeting of the
Albemarle Area Computer
Users Group. This month
the meeting will be held at
Mrs. Boswell’s Restaurant
at 7:30 P. M. This is an open
meeting and members are
urged to bring their friends.
Ed Logan with IBM, will
present a program entitled
“How to Be a Winner”.
Paper and pens will be
provided for the taking of
notes on his presentation.

Also, final plans are to be
made at this meeting for the
Family Day at the Beach
scheduled for July 25.
Special Program

“The Followers”, a vocal
group made up of young
people from several
churches in Edenton, will
present a special program
at the Edenton United
Methodist Church Sunday
morning, at 11 o’clock.
Members of the group
