HALLOWEEN TREATS for aU students at D. F. Walker
School included a Halloween musical for primary students.
“The Little Lost Witch”, put on by Mrs. Barbara Twine’s
second grade class, in the school’s library, was filled with
familiar nursery rhymes and songs to delight die K-3
students. Pictured right, are Crystal Belfield, The Little
Lost Witch and left The Billy Goats Gruff, Rusty Atstupenas,
Jason Jones and James Whittington. Other members of the
cast included: Three Little Bears - Eric Baker, Ricky
Davenport, Shawn Miller; Three Pigs - Jason Owens, Lance
Forehand and Anthony Hathaway; Parents - Catherine
Lowe, Tracy Cole and Tammie Wilson; Children - Kelie
Williams, Karen White, Tricia Speller, Courtney Hampton,
Meg Campen, Sarah Coleman, Izzie Herman; Chorus -
Jessica Ferebee, Bobby Bass, Taresa Wilson, Diana Wilson,
David White and Oliver Fayton. Assisting with the
production were Susan Taylor, Mrs. Ruby Webb, Mrs. Janie
Harrell, music director and Mrs. Gail Bembry, set designer.

major crop is the Spring production of bedding plants which are sold retail at thfe
greenhouses and wholesale to over 30 department stores and garden centers.
Carolina House, Christmas House and Luther Greenhouses are open from mid Oct. to
Dec. 31 and from mid March to May 31 Mon. - Sat. 9:30 to 5, Sunday Ito 5. Shorter hours for
other months are Mon. - Sat. 10 to 4, closed Sunday. In Elizabeth City, follow US 17 ByPass*.
