Thursday, February u, 1962 Bandon Notebook: Love Maintains Individual’s Dignity By Maggie B. HI, NEIGHBORS! Do you realize that in spite of all the science and technology in |t our world today, man still ' remains the greatest marvel?? What happens to man is of utmost im portance. We all want the human'race to become stronger, better and wiser as time goes on - and - still maintain the dignity of the individual. How can we accomplish this? By using ij one word - LOVE. I’m presently reading a “God’s love is the rolling ocean so deep and very wide No force can ever hope to check or stop its surging tide Like craggy mountains towering upward, vast and strong and tall There is no measure for His love - and - yet I have itqll.” On this beautiful Lord’s u Day it was a pleasure and a ' . privilege to enter the church of your choice to thank God for His countless blessings. Those gathered at Bandon Chapel for Sunday School were enthusiastically welcomed by Supt. Meta Mason. Meta is an out standing Superintendent and it warms the cockles of ■ her heart to see so many people present. The adult lesson taught by Margaret Bunting was entitled “Jesus Reinterprets Worship”, John 4:7-14, 19-26. Bible truth was that real worship emphasizes a Person more than a place. Aim was that students will identify ways to make their worship more I alive and personal. —O- Prayer List: Rev. Thomas Foy tells us that “one little prayer ascending from a man bowed low in prayer can pierce the highest heavens and bring down blessings rare”. Please add •*«'our friends to your prayer list. In this story, it outlines the drastic changes that occur in the community when some of its most prominent people pledge themsevles to do everything in their daily lives after ' asking the question. “What would Jesus do?”.
