Swimming Lessons
The Recreation Dept, will
sponsor Swimming Lessons
for ages 5-15 beginning June
14. There will be two three
week sessions offered with
the first session from June
14-July 2. Second session
will be from July 19 to
August 6. Both sessions are
from 10 to 11 A.M. Lessons
will be taught at the Coach
House Inn Pool. Instructors
are Bruce Wackelin and
Terri Ranson. Trans
portation will be provided
if needed. Registration fee
for each of the three week
sessions is $12.00 per person.
To register for either
session come by the Rec.
Dept, office during regular
office hours. For more in
formation call 482-8595.

Hugh O’Brian Youth
Foundation has sponsored a
series of leadership
seminars, selecting high
school sophomores from
across the nation this year
Susan Marie Elks has been
selected to represent the
Edenton area of the North
Carolina seminar in
Charlotte.
With the encouragement
of the North Carolina
Jaycees and the Hugh
O’Brian Youth Foundation
the Charlotte Joyces are
conducting a state
leadership seminar for 125
outstanding high school
\ sophomores from
throughout the North
Carolina public and non -
public school systems.
The seminar will be held
June 4th, sth, and <th at
Belmont Abby College in
' Belmont.
A child may fiave too much
of his mothar's blessing.
