James Elwood Perry, 61,
of Hertford, N.C., died May
25 at home following a
lengthy illness. The husband
of Dorothy Bunch Perry, he
was a retired farmer, a
member of Woodmen of the
World, and a member of
Anderson United Methodist
Church.
Besides his wife, he is
survived by his son, Gene
Perry of Hertford; his
sister, Mrs. Alton (Edna)
Stallings of Hertford; his
half - brother, Raymond
Rogerson of Tampa, Fla.;
and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were
held graveside on May 27 at
11 A.M. by Rev. Virgil Free
at Cedarwood Cemetary in
Hertford. Swindell Funeral
Home in Hertford was in
charge of arrangements.

Suvivors include his wife,

Funeral services were
conducted May 23 at 3 P.M.
