A statement of family income size including household members names, social security numbers of all adults or An indication that a household member does not have one, is required, plus a signed cer tification by the parent, gtfardian, or other adult household member that the information provided is correct. Under the provisions of the policy, school principals will review applications and determine eligibility. If a parent is dissatisfied with the decision of the determining official, he or she may wish to discuss it with the official on an informal basis. Carolina State University on August 5 in Raleigh. She was one among the 12 girls that represented Chowan County in the state wide contest Other participants competing in the contest were: Tara Dillard, Marlene Alexander, Keita Vanterpool, LaTanya Wilson, Dolicia Rountree, Lynnetta Jordan, Angela Jernigan, Denise Moye, Mary Copeland, DeAnn Morris and Yolanda Harris All the girls constructed a garment made of at least 50 per cent cotton under the supervision of Home Economics Extension Agent Theresa Ford and 4-H Junior Leader, Beverly Walker. The girls competed against 164 other boys and girls 9-13 years old from across North Carolina. Each participant was judged.on-. the basis of construction 'fabric (: and pattern/,* * copopatabjlity, appearance and fit. Beverly Walker served as a group leader for the contest at the request of the State Extension Clothing Specialist. Mrs. Emma Smart and Mrs. Dorothy Wilson served as leaders and accompanied the girls to Raleigh along with extension agent, Theresa T. Ford.
