To The Editor
Dear Editor.
Recently the News Media
Seminar participants made a
tour of the Chowan Herald to
observe the media process
of publishing news. This
well planned tour was very
beneficial to the group in
that understanding the
publishing industry
develops an awareness of
writing techniques and time
schedules essential to
develop well planned and
effective publicity for clubs
and organizations.
I would like to thank
“Bud” Amburn, editor, for
a& excellent class lecture;
PeEfe Manning, manager, for
a well planned, educational
tour at night for the con
venience of the group;
Suzanne Parker, ad
vertising manager, for a
delightful and informative
tour.
The time and efforts of the
Chowan Herald Staff are
appreciated.
Respectfully,
Lane Kinion
