Fellow of The Academy of General Dentistry Never Too Old If you think you’re too old for good-looking teeth, take another look at the many television and movie actors who’ve ■ achieves their first half | century and still have ; [ beautiful looking teeth. Anyone who is not in solitary confinement wants good looking teeth and an attractive smile. You don’t have to be an actor to care about your appearance, no matter what your age. You are never too old for good looking teeth, and if you have a problem that needs correcting, your dentist can help you solve it. It’s not unusual for some teeth to become chipped and damaged over a period of time, for example. Other teeth may become crooked or I out of alignment because ' the gaps from missing teeth haven’t been filled. This not only affects the shape of your mouth, but the shape of your face. It can also add wrinkle lines and sags to the skin that are really not necessary, not with good dental treatment. If your teeth are detracting from your ap pearance, see your den tist and ask him what he would recommend to give you good looking teeth. God Bless All of You, Mrs. Esther Rayhon Vision And Safe Driving Whenever you’re driving, be it on the highway or on some local throughfare, you know how important good vi sion is in preventing ac cidents. If you see a problem quickly and clearly enough, you have a good chance of avoiding it. However, if you haven’t had your eyes examined recently or if you have any doubts about the clarity of your vi sion, you should have your eyes checked. To drive safe ly you need good visual acui ty. This is the ability to see details of moving objects and road signs clearly, whether near or far away. You also need good peripheral vision, the ability to see many ob jects in a large area without having to move your eyes or head. Depth perception is also important in judging the distance of an object or the distance between two objects. It’s always a relief to “be on the safe side,” especially when you’re driving a car. you have any questions at ^our vision, have your ey« checked by yliureye doctor Ihe interest of better vision from the office ot: A.F.
