Recreation eport Fall Soccer and Football Teams have been chosen in both ~ the youth soccer and youth foot '' ball leagues. Practices began this week. If you signed up for either league and have not been con tacted by your coach you may call the Rec. Dept, at 482-8595 to find out which team you are on. Adult Volleyball Leagues Play begins next week in both the Womens and Mens Volleyball Leagues. Matches begin at 7 on P Tuesday and Thursday nights. Bunch and Brian Maurice Peek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald M. Peek of Jamestown, were united in marriage September 12 at 3 p.m. in the Friendly Avenue Baptist Church, Greensboro. Dr. Michael K. Moore officiated. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal ivory gown of bridal satin and alencon lace styled with a high neckline and fitted sleeves of silk Angela Elaine Morgan and Charles Edward Black illusion, alencon lace, pearls and sequins. The bodice, featuring a dropped waist, was of satin ac cented with lace, sequins and pearls with escalloped lace V back over illusion. The full satin skirt with cathedral train was trimmed in alencon lace, pearls and sequins. The bride’s mantilla was of ivory bridal illusion trimmed in alencon lace. She carried a cascade of gardenias, stephanotis and white roses. Wedding music was provided by Myra Thrasher, organist and Dale Sloan, soloist. Matron of honor was Mrs. Don na Peele of Edenton, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were: Miss Sandy Gann and Mrs. Connie Hastings of Greensboro, Mrs. Karen Miller of Gatesville, Ms. Lisa Phillips of Edenton, and Miss Lani Staiger of Charlotte. Brandi Nicole Peele, niece of the bride, was flower girl. Serving as best man was the groom’s father, Gerald M. Peek. Groomsmen were Todd Hatfield of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Bobby Higdon of Winston Salem, Ted Peele of Edenton, Lars Pekay of Columbus, Ohio, and Ron Pettis of Chapel Hill. A reception was held im mediately following the ceremony in the church fellowship hall. The bride is a graduate of The Medical College of Virginia, Rich mond. She is employed as a Clinical Nelirophysiology Technologist at North Carolina Memorial Hospital, Chapel Hill. The groom graduated from Wake Forest University and is now a graduate student at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, seeking a Ph.D. degree in chemistry. After a wedding trip to Charleston, South Carolina, the couple will reside in Chapel Hill.
