The wedding was performed at the home of the bridels parents in Edenton on Feb. 5, with the father of the bride officiating in a private ceremony attended by family members. Glenda Spruill, daughter of the bride, served as maid of honor. Mr. Rice is employed by English Construction Company in Richmond, VA. His bride is employed by Brian Center in Windsor. They presently reside in Edenton. The event took place Feb. 12-14. The duties of the District VI11 Director will involve acting as liaison between chapters in this district and the State Board, coordinating District work shops and meetings, judging the American History and Good Citizen chapter winners. Chapters in this district are in Edenton, Elizabeth City, Farm ville, Greenville, Halifax, Kill Devil Hills, Plymouth, Rocky Mount, Scotland Neck, Wash ington and Wilson. Mrs. Bangert was twice Re gent of the Edenton Tea Party Chapter from. 1992 to 1996. She helped form the Brick House Landing Chapter in Plymouth in August 1997 where she has served as Vice Regent for the last two years. She is a mem ber of the Brick House Land ing Chapter and an associate member of the Edenton Tea Party Chapter.
