(Photo courtesy of Bob Barker) Barker is Grand Slam tourney champ Rob Barker of Edenton won Grand Slam honors during the recent Barta Blue Marlin Tour nament held at Walker's Cav in the Bahamas. Seventy-eight boats took part in the tournament, fishing a maximum ofTive lines per boat. Barker's father, Bob, said he was most impressed by the "catch and release " philosophy being prompted during the event, startt^l three years ago. "They really encourage that," he said. Rob Barker said he was thrilled to win. "I've loved fishing since I was about two years old,' he said.
