New lending puzzles available
* A new category of lending
materials is now available at the
-library. We will be circulating
rjigsaw puzzles thanks to Carolyn
Whicker’s donations and idea.
Carolyn works with Chowan
- Hospital's Community Alterna
tive Program and she brought a
1 -special need to our attention.
I She told us that many older
[people who don’t have a lot of
mobility like to put puzzles
; together for both therapy and
* recreation. With the help of
* friends and clients, she has
amassed a good-sized collection
and wanted to put the puzzles
l where more people would have
access to them. You can help the
collection grow, too, if you have
some dust-gatherers (with all the
pieces!) that you would like to
contribute. We thank Carolyn
and know that many people will
benefit.
