Her headpiece was a beaded crown with an elbow-length veil. She carried a formal cascade of purple iris, Casablanca lilies and white roses, tied with chiffon streamers. Jenny Wester, sister-in-law of the bride, served as the matron of honor. She wore a floor-length lav ender dress of satin with chiffon overlay, an empire waist with a floral embroidered bodice. She car ried a bountiful hand-tied bouquet of large lavender roses and white monte casino, enhanced with chif fon ribbon. Sumerlyn Richardson, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor.
