Katherine MitcheH Twine of Timer will welcome her 18 living children home to northeastern North Carolina to celebrate this special day that is more centered around family and memories of home than other more commercial ized holidays. Among them will be her daugh ters Beverly Twine of Timer, Angela Twine Montgomery of Elizabeth City and her eldest son, Joseph, who makes his home in Virginia Beach. All said they grew up in a close knit family headed by Katherine and her husband, the late Lloyd A. Twine Sr., who died in 1999. Both parents encouraged them to work hard and get a good education in order to have the best life possible. And they led by example during their 51-year marriage.
