suddenly discover
you haven't a baby
any more but a regular, sure 'nuff little shaver it's a pretty sure

own. Maybe that means an addition to the house. A playhouse;
a dog kennel; a high board fence to shin over; and repairs! Ask
Dad ? he knows! Dad buys lumber here. He's one of our best

The editor is the recipient of four
tomatoes from Mrs. J. S. McCombs,
of Peachtree. The four tomatoes
weighed five pounds, and were grown
on one vine. They were Yellow
Ponderosa and were practically free
of spots or blemishes, one being: en
tirely perfect. Mrs. McCombs had
one hundred hills of tomatoes this
year, from which she stated she had
already gathered more than twenty
five bushels. She has canned 200
halt gallon cans, sold quite a lot and
has had all she wanted for table use.
These, she stated, were grown with
out any extra effort or care of the
plants, and after giving us the four,
she had a large basket full left and
some of them looked even larger than
those given us. This is another in
stance and concrete illustration that
tomatoes can be grown in this sec
tion without practically anv extra
effort and profitably as well.
