(Look for answers elsewhere) REVIVAL AT TOMOTLA CLOSES SUNDAY The revival meeting, which has been in progress at this place came to a close Sunday ni^ht at the Baptist church, which was conducted by the Rev. L. F. Claik, of Canton. X. C. This has been the greatest revival our community has held in many years, and large crowds gathered at each service. The pastor did all the preach ing, with much power, and in the old time gospel way. Thirty-five addi tions were united 'o the Baptist church, and probably several others will unite with the Methodist church. TO ENJOY ONE IOB, HAVE MANY, MAUNEY ADVISES (Continued from Page !)) our work. Why should we spend it doing something we don't like?" "It is possible to make an unpleas ant task of work we start out liking. This can be prevented usually by having other interests be they sports 01 other work." "Hospitals are very different to day from what they were 15 years ago," Mauney said. One big differ ence is in the requirements for a nurse. "Fifteen years ago there was no requirement as to her education. To- ! day she must be a high school grad uate before she can enter the better hospitals for training: and in a few years I believe some college work will be required. "Another difference is in the com fort of the patient. Fifteen years ago there was no healthy competi tion between the hospitals as there is today. Now even Lhe beds have improved. Of course rhere arc a great many mechanical things now for the better care of the patient that we didn't have then. Even the X ray was a very poor thing to work with then, and not all hospitals had it. "To manage a hospital is not an easy job. There are courses in hos pital management now. 1 advise any one thinking of this work to lake the course: it would be extremely diffi cult for anyone to break in and learn as it was possible to do 15 years ago. And it was hard enough then." 666 Relieve* a Headache or Neuralgia in 30 minutes, checks a Cold the first da y, and checks Malaria in three days. 666 also in Tablets ANNOUNCEMENT At the solicitation of friends from different sections of our County, I have censented to become a candi date for the office of County Com missioner for Cherokee County, sub ject to the action of the Republican County Convention.
