Enjoy Social
The young people belonging to the
Intermediate Department of the First
Baptist church enjoyed a social Friday
evening in the ladies parlor of the
church.
The social was given in the form of
a "Groundhog Party", and was highly
amusing and entertaining in every
detail. As the guests arrived they
were presented with spears with which
to spear the "groundhogs,, which were
concealed about the room- At the end
af the "groundhog hunt", the "groundhogs"
were found to be weiners. Following
this, games and contests were
enjoyed.
The hostesses served "hot dogs",
coca colas and cookies to those present
who were: Maxine Davidson, Anna
Kuth Carringer, Jessamine Vestal.

carried out at the dinner party given
by Mr. and Mrs. H. Rnoelr ut
home on Dillard Street Wednesday
night. The delicious dinner was served
at individual tables, bearing attractive
place cards and centered with
red. candles.
Included in this courtesy were: Mr.
and Mrs. Bill Cover, Jr., of Andrews,
