The presitlent, Mrs. Tom Evans, presiding. The meeting was opened with the ivomans hymn, with Mrs. Bessie Deiveese at the piano. Mrs. J- C Ammons led the devotion, al. Mrs. Henry Hyatt discussed in letail the Baptist (missionary work ir? Chile. Mrs. Tom Evans had a very interesting paper on Co-operative *oik in Chile, followed by Mrs. A. After the business meeting, which included much discussion on plans for the rest of the year, an informal social hour was enjoyed in honor of Miss Sara Cook, of Greenville, S. C. As the bridal couple entered the bridal chorus from "Lohengrin" by Wagner was played and during the ceremony "At Dawning'* was played. Mendelssohns' wedding march waa used as a recessional. The bride was dressed in a printed chiffon frock with white accessor jies. She wore a shoulder corsage of 'pink roses. I An informal reception was held foLowing the wedding. The bridal table had as its centerpiece a two tier wedding cake decorated with a minature bride and bridegroom. Following a short wedding trip the couple will reside in Marshall. Mrs. Gregory is a graduate of the \ Woman's Co.lege of Greensboro, and for the past year had been teaching in the Murphy High School at Muiphy. N. C.
