The bridegroom is the son of Mrs.
A E Plek and the late Mr Atkinsor
of Union Town. Ky.
The ceremony was performed by
the Rev. C B. Newton. The altar was
decorated with an arch. Thus arch
was draped with ferns and set off
by two candelabra, one on either side
and each holding four long white
tapers which were lighted just be
fore the couple plighted their troth.

Prior to the ceremony there was

Mrs. Ida Martin Dies
Weakened By Worry
Over Sick Baby Son
Last rites were held Saturday. Feb.
28. for Mrs. Ida Martin, aged 38. who
died at her home in the Martins
Creek section six days after she was
stricken with pneumonia. Her col
laps'! is believed due largely to a
month of worry an dalmost sleepless
effort nursing her three year old son.

The funeral was held at the Ogree
ta church, with the Rev. Lige Beav
er. ot Suit .officiating .and Townson
Funeral Home in charge of arrange
ments. Burial was in the church
yard cemetery.
Mrs. Martin is survived by her
husband. Lloyd, a TV A worker; eight
daughters, and two sons. The 90ns.
both babies, are Lige, aged three
and Dewey, aged two.
The daughters, all of whom live at.
home, are: the Misses Annie Mae,
Ethel Lee. Laura Bell. Helen Ruth.
Iva Lou. Averil Myrtle. Madle Arlene
and Ottus Blanche.
