all its contents, some days ago. Tiie
fire ot cured about 8 P M while
Mr Patterson was awav at work.
It resulted from an overheated stove
pipe. This is the second home that
has burned here i? the last few

The death of Adrian, the seven
y<ar and nine month old baby
daughter of Mr. and Mrs A J.
Simonds on Tuesday of las; week,
brought sorrow to the whole com
munity. as was shown by the attend
ance at her funeral Wednesday af
ternoon. which was held In the
Macedonia Baptist church, the Rev
