Mrs. Ruby Nichols and daugh ter. Noma, made a business trip to Blue Ridge. Oa . last week. Howard Garren of Wolf Creek made a business trip here recent Rev. J. H. Hadaway of Stone Mountain. Oa.. began a revival meeting here last week. The mreting is progressing fine. Charlie Nichols has accepted a position with the T. V. A. and Is working at the Notla Dam. Harold Watson and Bobbie Ki-vselburg of the U. S. Navy spent last week here with friends and relatives. Rev Glover Methvin filled an appointment at Mount Pleasant churh last Sunday evening. Rev. and Mrs. Lester Stowe of Texas, are spending a few days here with the latter's parents. Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Kisselburg. Homer Queen and family of Ducktown. were visitors here Sat urday. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Nichols of Blue Ridge. Oa., were Sunday eve ning visitors here. Constable Ed Dotson carried Thomas Voyles to Milledgeville. Ga. Monday of this week for treatment. Upper Peachtree The attendance was small in Sunday school Sunday on account of the rain, but everybody is invit ed to come out next Sunday and make it better. Miss Bettie Laura Curtis has been sick but every one is glad to know she is better. Miss Eunivie Lunsford was the dinner guest Sunday of Misses Freddie and Grace Lunsford. Harold Lovingood and Charles Hendrix were the dinner guests Sunday of Bob Curtis. Little Miss Naomi Lunsford. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loy I.unsford spent most of last week with her grand parents. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Thomasson. J. W. Barker is still improving. Mr. and Mrs. Fird Moore and baby. Harold, spent the week-end with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Marson Moore. Mr. and Mrs. Olen Johnson an xiounce the birth of a daughter on June 26. Misses Dorothy and Lory Leath erwood spent a while Saturday afternoon at C. W. Thomasson's.
