Last year, at the call of the gov ernment. they planted three acres of Irish Potatoes for the market. She also put milk from eight cows on the market through Southern Dairies to be distributed in the At lanta defense area. This year she has increased her dairy herd to eleven and Ls now constructing a Grade-A milk cooling plant. Even though Mrs. Russell is sixty one years old. she has been going to the milk barn about 4:00 A M. in the morning with a lan tern in her hand, in order that her farm might become a fighting unit on the home front. It is this Kind of home front fighting which puts the will to win in the boys in Italy, the Islands in the Pacific ? nd eventually the continent of Europe. As a tenant farmer.
