Notice To Taxpayers
Notices will be posted giving the time and
place for listing your taxes. Many persons in the
past have failed to list. All taxpayers will take
notice that for every taxpayer who fails to list
his property or poll, before the close of the legal
listing period, a penalty of 10 per cent of the tax
will be added, but in no event less than one dollar,
as provided by law, Chapter 310, Section 1109.

The County is put to a big expense upon failure
to list and this 10 per cent positively will be col
lected from those failing to list to keep from bur
dening those who obey the law.
