Monday. January 14 Funeral ser vices were held from the Mt. Zion Baptist church. Tuesday January 15 with the Rev. Clarence Voyles officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Queen had been a member of the Oak Grove Baptist church for more than twenty five years. Surviving besides her husband are. one son Homer, and three grand children. He served in the Navy for 72 months. 57 of which was sea duty. He participated in 12 major engage ments. 10 invasions, and has 12 battle stars. He received two Cap tain's commendations. His wife. Abbie Lee. resides in Blairsvillc, Ga. Mrs. Dave Burrill Taken By Death Mrs Dave Burrill. age 78. passed way at her home at Unaka. Jan uary U. Funeral services were held from the home January 12 with the Rev. Sam Wolf officiating. Furial was in Garrett cemetery with Townson funeral home in charge-. Mrs. Burrill was one of the out standing Christian women of her section, and had been a member of the Baptist church for around 60 years. Surviving are one sister. Mrs. Bradshaw; two brothers.
