The vows were spoken before the fireplace which was hanked with mountain laurel, with tall seven branched candelabra holding white cathedral candles on each side, and a basket of white chrysanthe mums in the center. A program of wedding music was presented by Mrs. J Alton Morris. As the candles were light ed by Miss Mary Jo Lloyd and Miss Frances Jo Martin, Mrs. Morris played "The Sweetest Story Ever l Told", by Stults, and during the ceremony, "Always" was played softly. The bride and groom entered to gether, unattended, to the strains of the Bridal chorus from "Lohen grin". She wore a light blue suit with black accessories and a cor sage of white orchids. Miss Willie McKinney, maid of honor, wore a pink wool dress with black accessories and a corsage of white carnations. j The bridegroom had as best man | his brother, Rex Hall of Detroit. Immediately after the ceremony, i the young couple left by motor for j a wedding trip. They will make ; their home in Detroit. Mrs. Hall, daughter of Mr. and ! Mrs. T. J. Ramey of Otto, is a I graduate of Franklin high school. She attended Asheville Beauty academy, and has been employed at Candler's Beauty Shoppe here for five years. Mr. Hall, son of Mrs. Nettie Showers and the late Mr. Hall of Detroit, received his B. A. degree in Music at the University of Mi ami, Miami, Fla. He played First Oboe with the Michigan Sym phony. After three years in serv ice with the 103rd infantry, he is now a member of the Detroit Sym phony Orchestra. He played with the Detroit Civic Light Opera company during the season of 1946. and now appears on the Ford Sun day evening hour. Helen Carringer Is Bride Of Frank Waldroup Mrs. Vesta Carringer of Mur phy and Harve Carringer of Brass town announce the marriage of their daughter, Mary Helen Car ringer, to Frank Cody Waldroup of Hayesville, son of Mrs. Lush Barn ard of Hayesville and Wayne Wald roup of Titusville, Penn. The marriage took place at Blairsville, Ga., on October 5, with the Rev. Claud C. Boynton officiat ing. Mrs. Waldroup is a graduate of Murphy high school. Mr. Waldroup is a graduate of Hayesville high school and attend ed Young Harris college. Young Harris, Ga. He spent 40 months in service, eight of which were spent overseas. The couple plan to make their i home in Murphy. Miss Ramey Is Honoree At Dinner Mrs. Verlin Crisp and Mrs. John Donley entertained for Miss Edna Ramey last Wednesday night with a dinner party at the home of Mrs. Crisp.
