Mrs. S. Panther Dies At Age 77 Mrs. Susanna Panther. 77, died Tuesday at the home of her broth er, L. C. Duvall near Blairsville, Ga. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at LouAila, near Bryson City. Burial followed in the church cemetery with Townson funeral home of Murphy in charge. Born and reared in Macon coun ty, she had been visiting her broth er only a short time before her death. She is survived by two sons, Manuel and Clingman Panther, and three brothers, F. L. Duvall of Franklin. L C. Duvall of Warne, and J. M. Duvall of Culberson. Fox of Ranger, Sunday, when they had the home coming of their chil dren, thirty grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Lunch was served under the trees in the front yard. Rev. W. T. Truett made a j talk on family reunions. String music was furnished by J. W. Cecil and Don Fox. After lunch group pictures were made. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Kilpatrick and their family of Murphy, Route 2, Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Fox and family of Blairsville, Ga., Fol A. Fox and their small daughter all of Gas tonia, Mrs. H. B. Elrod and her small daughter of Patrick, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Fox and their family, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fox and family, and Herbert Fox all of Ranger, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Sutton and their family of Front Royal, Va.. Mr. and Mrs. Sterlin Akin and family. Mrs. J. H. Monteith and her mother, Mrs. Nichols and Larry Bolen of Gastonia also attended the reunion. A. T. Bateman Funeral services for A. T. Bate man. 73, who died at the home of his son, C. C. Bateman in Robbins ville Friday, were held Sunday af ternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Andrews Methodist church. The pastor, the Rev. C. C. Washam, and the Rev. W. T. Medlin, Jr.. pastor of Rob binsville Methodist church offi ciated. Burial followed in the An drews cemetery with Townson fu neral home in charge. Surviving are ten children, Mrs. E. G. Tolly of Greenville, S. C., Mrs. J. E.
